Safer Internet Day, Cyber Security & Data Protection

🛡️🔒We couldn't get through today without mentioning it's Safer Internet Day today (11th February).  And while we don't need a special day to talk about being safe online, cyber security and data protection, we welcome any chance to highlight how important they all are.

Protect Personal Data

🔒 reminds users to safeguard their personal information.

🔒 raises awareness about strong passwords, privacy settings and looking out for data breaches - helping individuals protect their digital identity.

Cyber Security Awareness:

🛡️highlights risks from hacking, phishing scams, malware and ransomware, all common cyber security threats.

🛡️ promotes safer browsing habits, to educate users in spotting online dangers.

Online Safety for Young People

🛟Schools can use Safer Internet Day to education students (and staff) about cyber bullying, social media risks and online predators.
🛟Teaching them about securing their accounts and recognising online scams to create a safer digital environment.

Cyber security is about the responsible use of technology.
